About 150 children at the Busko stadium participated in the "Open Football Lessons" — a traditional social-sports festival of the UAF, which is organized by Lviv Football Association in Lviv region.

Among the participants were students from the local children and youth sports school and the sports rehabilitation club «Victoria», as well as pupils from general education schools in Busko united territorial community. Interestingly, there were more girls than boys overall.

The event began with the performance of the Ukrainian National Anthem and a moment of silence for those killed in the war against Russian occupiers.

The football field was divided into 12 squares. Qualified instructors Andriy Smolsky, Volodymyr Hevko, Anastasiya Yanturina, Yuri Troyan, Andriy Kuriy, Inna Buiv, Solomiia-Mariia Korol, Ilona Konopatska, Orysha Misak, Iryna Savraz and Olha Horoshko worked with the children under the leadership of the executive director of LAF, coordinator of the festival in Lviv region Stepan Poniaid, and senior football coach of Busko DYS Sh Ivan Tomkiv.

The children learned football techniques, tried themselves in various active games, studied rules of safe behavior during wartime and its consequences, basics of strengthening their own health and immunity, communicated with a psychologist. Parents were pleased that their children spent time on the Busko stadium happily and profitably.

In addition, the kids received exclusive football shirts, caps, balls, sweets. At the same time, Busko OTG received a lot of sports equipment.

Lviv Football Association expresses sincere gratitude for help and support in organizing and holding the "Open Football Lessons" to the director of Busko DYS Sh Bohdan Pasiichnyk, senior coach of the football department at Busko DYS Sh Ivan Tomkiv, head of the Federation of Football in Busko OTG Andriy Kuriy, mayor of Busko city Rostyslav Slipec and head of education, youth and sports department of Busko City Council Maryia Richel.

We remind you that this summer "Open Football Lessons" took place at stadiums in Morshyn and Sosnivtsi. In the near future, LAF plans to also hold them in Stryi and Verkhnie Bilytsi.
