Last club weekend, nine out of ten Ukrainian national team players invited by Oleksandr Petраков for the September League of Nations matches played in their respective teams. Interestingly, in five of these games involving Ukrainians, one team scored twice while the opponent did not score at all.
On Friday, October 7, Andriy Yarmolenko's «Al-Ain» won away from home against «Dibba Al-Fujairah»—2:0. The captain of our national team scored a goal.
On Saturday, October 8, Danila Igнатenko's «Bordeaux» defeated «Metz» at home (2:0) in the French Ligue 2.
In the Belgian league, Eduard Soból and Roman Yaremchuk's «Brugge» suffered a home defeat against «Westerlo»—0:2, while in the Spanish La Liga, Andriy Lunin's «Real Madrid» won away against «Getafe»—1:0.
On Sunday, October 9, in the Italian Serie A, Viktor Kovalenko's «Spezia» lost away to «Monza»—0:2, and Ruslan Malinovskyi's «Atalanta» drew 2-2 away from home against «Udinese»—2:2.
In the Czech league, Taras Kacharaba's «Slavia Prague» lost away to «Sigma Olomouc»—0:2, and Vitaliy Mykolenko's «Everton» lost at home in the English Premier League to «Manchester United»—1:2.
