The qualifying cycle for Euro 2024, whose draw will take place tomorrow, October 9th in Frankfurt am Main (start of the ceremony - 13:00 Kyiv time), will be the 14th qualification stage for Ukraine's national team considering World Cup qualifiers.

Previously, blue-and-yellow took part in World Cup qualifying seven times and six times in Euro Championship qualifiers.

As for continental firsts, the Ukrainians managed to break through the qualification sieve twice (for Euro 2016 and Euro 2020). In 2012 they played as hosts in the final tournament.

On October 9th, during the draw procedure, Ukraine's national team will be in the third pot. Overall, blue-and-yellow have entered the second and third pots six times each and twice - the fourth. For the third time in history, Ukraine is entering the third pot for a Euro Championship qualifier.
