Compared to the match against Ukraine in the third round of the Nations League (0:3) on June 11 of this year, the composition of Armenia's national team has undergone significant changes.

The coach of the Armenian team, Joaquín Caparros, first and foremost, declined the services of Noravank goalkeeper Henry Avagyan.

In defense, Kamo Oganesyan from Kazakhstan's Astana and Ayk Ishkhanyan with Arman Oganesyan from Pyunik did not receive a call-up. In their place, Ashot Akopyan from Ararat-Armenia has been called up to the national team.

In midfield, there were nine immediate changes. Absent are Solomon Udo and Vbeymar Angulo from Ararat-Armenia, Rudik Mkrtchyan and Edgar Malakyan from Ararat, and Artur Serobyan from CSKA Moscow. In their place, against Ukraine, Jirair Shagoyan from Sofia's CSKA, Karen Muradyan from Ararat-Armenia, Sergey Mkrtchyan from Urartu, and Serob Ghazaryan from Ararat may play. In attack, Joaquín Caparros will have to manage without Hoffenheim forward Sarkis Adamyan.

The Armenian national team held a training camp at the Technical Center of the Football Federation of Armenia. The last player to join the team was midfielder Lucas Selarayan from American «Columbus Crew SC».

Recall that today, September 24, the match between Armenia and Ukraine in the fifth round of the group stage of the Nations League will take place at Yerevan's Republican Stadium (kickoff — 16.00 Kyiv time).
