Despite the state of war and difficult situation in our country, the Ukrainian Football League Extraliga championship will be held, reports Ukrainian Floorball Association.

Ten teams will start the 2022/2023 season, divided territorially into two groups — "West" and "Center". Matches of the first round are scheduled for September 3.

In the first stage, teams will play matches within their groups in two rounds. In the second stage, five rounds will be played where teams from group "West" will face opponents from group "Center". In the third stage, participants will again play matches within their groups but only once around. In the final fourth stage, teams will play each other between groups again, followed by playoff matches.

In January 2023, the AFU together with participating Extraliga teams will hold a meeting to analyze the status of each club's activities and agree on the resumption of competitions in the proposed format.

We remind you that the Extraliga tournament last season was not completed due to Russian military invasion.
