Clubs of the second-tier division are completing their preparations for a season, which, according to a statement by the PFL, will start on August 27.
The latest newcomers to "LENZ" are Maxim Tyapkin, Roman Tolochko, and Vadim Chornyi, who previously played for "Dnipro-1", "Prykarpattia", and "Metalurh" respectively. In their most recent friendly matches, the team coached by Yury Bakalov managed to draw 1:0 against representatives of the UPL — "Kolos" and "Veres".
Lviv's "Karpaty" are successfully conducting friendlies, impressing with their well-organized defense. They won away from home against "Mynay" (1:0), drew with "Lviv" (0:0), and defeated Ternopil's "Niva" (1:0) as well as "Prykarpattia" (1:0). The green-and-white team has been bolstered by Artur Ryabov and Oleksandr Klimets from "Volyn".
The last new addition to "Obolon" Igor Krasyopir already managed to score in a friendly against the debutant of the first division — FSK "Mariupol". Another newcomer for the "brewers" Vitaliy Hrysha opened the scoring, followed by Krasyopir. The only thing Mariupol could manage was to reduce the deficit thanks to Danylo Litovchenko's goal — 1:2.

Konstantin Bychek left "Niva" to join "Metalist 1925", while Ruslan Deduk extended his contract with the Ternopil team.
As for "Bukovyna", experienced Artem Tsyurypyn moved from "Olympik" to Chernivtsi, and brothers Denis and Artem Ryabiy renewed their contracts.
Players of "Hirnyk-Sport" conducted two friendlies — a win over "Poltava" (2:0) and a loss to "Metalurh" (0:1).
Maxim Navrotsky and Anatoliy Ulyanov from "Kremenchuk" have decided to seek employment elsewhere.
And the first newcomer to "Skorokhod" is Kyrylo Pasiichnyk from amateur "Standard" in Poltava region. By the way, in their last friendly match, "Skorokhod" lost to amateurs from Zaporizhzhia's "Motor" — 1:2.
