"Everton" defender of the Ukrainian national team Vitaliy Mykolenko played his penultimate preparatory friendly match ahead of the start of the new season.

On neutral ground, "The Toffees" faced Championship (second-tier division in English football) side "Blackpool".

The Ukrainian player played the full match, scored a goal and provided an assist, with his team winning 4-2.

The last friendly game before the start of the Premier League 2022/2023 season will be held on July 29. On that day, "Goodison Park" will host Kyiv's "Dynamo".

On August 6, the Liverpool-based team will play their first league match against "Chelsea" at home.
