Today, the Ukraine beach soccer team is departing for Krakow, from where they will fly to Lisbon in Portugal and then on to the town of Nazaré, where they will participate in the first qualifying stage of EuroLeague-2022 from June 30 to July 3.

The task of the Ukrainian team at these competitions was outlined by its head coach Mykola Kostenko.

"Currently, all players are healthy and there are no injuries, so there will be no changes to the lineup. We expect Igor Borsuk from 'Levante' to join us in Lisbon. The team arrives almost simultaneously with him — the difference is half an hour.

At the Portuguese stage of qualification, our team has two matches. It's clear that our main goal is to win both games and score six points. At the same time, we know that both Spain and Italy are very tough opponents. We will prepare accordingly.

On July 1 in Nazaré, we have the opportunity to watch a match between Spain and Germany directly. We'll analyze it, see how the teams have approached the qualifying stage, assess their strengths and weaknesses. We'll find time to work more tactically and prepare more thoroughly for our game against Spain, which will be very important.

Italy plays with Azerbaijan on the first day, I think we won't miss that match either. In this regard, our team has a slight advantage," — said the coach of the national team.
