Half an hour before the team's training session, Oleksandr Petrakov and his coaching staff conducted a master class for young football players from the club’s children's school «Dynamo» (Dublin), founded 20 years ago by Ukrainian emigrants.

“Currently, there are about 50 children aged between eight and fourteen participating in Dublin «Dynamo»'s groups. These kids used to attend football schools in Ukraine but were forced to leave their homeland after February 24th. We invited these children to participate in the master class. You should have seen how their eyes lit up when they heard about it, — Viktor Ilitsky, the club's director, said. — We are very grateful to Oleksandr Vasylyovych and all the guys who made this event possible for the children. First of all, yesterday’s victory, and now also this meeting with the national team! There just aren't words.”

The head coach of the blue-and-yellow team offered young football players to perform some of the training exercises that are conducted with national teams, preparing for the main part of the session. Of course, it didn't go without goal kicks, and everyone took them — both teenagers and little ones. So for 30 minutes, the children got a taste of being real national team players. And when current defenders of Ukraine's sporting honor stepped onto the field, there was no limit to their joy! The opportunity to take a photo with their idol and get an autograph — could anything be more of a dream for a child who loves football?

A group photo of young and experienced players on the stands at University College Dublin Stadium will leave pleasant memories.

As for the national team's work in the morning, it took place, as is traditional after a match day, in two groups. Players who started yesterday’s game against Ireland had recovery fitness training and stretching today, while the rest conducted full training sessions. Everyone was on the field except for Georgiy Bushchan and Taras Stepanenko, whose injuries are known.

The main group of players, including Andriy Yarmolenko and Roman Yaremchuk who were not included in yesterday's match lineup, completed their assigned program.

After warm-up exercises, including squares, the boys worked on game series formats.

Immediately after training, the blue-and-yellow team returned to the hotel only for lunch and then headed straight to the airport. The charter flight from Dublin to Lodz was scheduled for 16:40.

The flight is expected to take 2 hours and 40 minutes. All 27 players present in the national team camp are flying to Poland.

In Lodz, Ukrainians will be accommodated at the Ambassador Centrum hotel. The June calendar of Nations League games is quite busy: tomorrow, blue-and-yellow will conduct a pre-game training session and an official press conference on the LKS Stadium.
