France won against Armenia with a score of 4:1 and practically secured the first step in Group N. It should be noted that Ukraine's youth team will not fall below second place and has guaranteed at least participation in the playoffs. However, the blue-and-yellow have chances to become the best team among seconds or even take the first spot, although only theoretically (if they win two matches against France with a score of 6:0 or higher). As of today, Rostislav Rotan's wards occupy third place in the ranking of second-placed teams. To count on a lucky ticket from the second position, it is necessary to defeat France and hope for favorable outcomes in other groups.

We remind you that 16 teams will participate in the final stage of Euro-2023 (U-21) — Romania and Georgia as hosts of the tournament and another 14 national teams joining them based on qualifying results (nine group winners, the best team among second-placed teams, and four playoff winners, where eight second-placed teams will compete).

Rostislav Rotan's wards have two matches left in their group. The home match against France will be played on June 9 at the Esenyurt Nedim Kadioglu Arena in Istanbul, where local club Istanbulspor plays (capacity: 4,500 spectators). The match against the French is scheduled to start at 19:45.

The game Armenia vs. Ukraine will take place on June 12 at Yerevan Football Academy Stadium (kickoff — 18:00 Kyiv time).
