The Ukraine national team is preparing for the 2022 season at the Sunrise arena in Kyiv's Hydropark, reports the Ukrainian Beach Soccer Association. Due to current difficult circumstances, blue-and-yellow players have not been able to gather in full strength, as the war has forced many of them to disperse across different parts of our country and abroad.

However, the coaching staff is holding training sessions with mixed squads and involving players from Kyiv-based teams. Notably, the team trains with Valeriy Chernyev, president of the Kyiv Beach Soccer Association. With many experienced national team members who cannot currently participate in preparation, head coach Mykhailo Kostenko maintains telephone contact.

Soon, Ukraine's national team will play in Kiev at the tournament in memory of Yevgeny Ryabchuk. Next, our team will prepare for the qualifying stage of Euroleague-2022, which will take place from June 30 to July 3 in Nazaré, Portugal. In case of a successful performance in the qualifier, Mykhailo Kostenko's protégés will qualify for the Euroleague Super Final, scheduled for September 6-9 in Italy. Qualification for the Super Final is also a preliminary qualifying round for the European Games 2023 to be held in Krakow.

Also this summer, Ukraine's national team awaits a qualifier tournament for the World Beach Games 2023 under the auspices of the International Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), which will take place in Catania, Italy.
