On May 4th and 5th, a seminar for managers and coaches of mass football with elements of education about the risks of explosive items was held in Chernivtsi.

Among the participants were representatives from Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi and Kyiv regions.

Over two days, participants attended lectures on weapons and mine markings, mass football projects in Ukraine, basic directions for risk education, mental health, psychological peculiarities, and working with children affected by war, child protection in football, and methods of conducting classes to minimize risks related to armed conflicts.

Participants reinforced theoretical material through practical sessions — football training with elements of EORE (EORE - education about the risks of explosive items) and methods for teaching children safe conduct during football games in wartime and post-war conditions.

The seminar was held with the participation of UAF and AAFU executive committee member Oleksandr Kadynka, Deputy Head of the Mass Sports Department and Social Projects Division at UAF Olha Vladimirova, National Coordinator for Social Projects at UAF Yevhenii Stolitenko, social responsibility manager Irina Makarevych, international speaker and founder of Spiritof Soccer Scott Lee, as well as leading instructors — Serhiy Chekhetskyi, Yuriy Lutsenko, and Oleksiy Lazarenko.

We sincerely thank the Chernivtsi Football Association, Vasyl Orleytskyi, Serhiy Zadorozhnyak, Oleksandr Plakhov, and everyone who contributed to organizing this event in Chernivtsi — organizers, partners, coaches, and of course participants, who received certificates upon completion. They will further disseminate the knowledge and skills they acquired primarily for internally displaced persons from regions affected by Russian aggression, thereby increasing public awareness about the risks associated with explosive items.
