On the fifth day of the national team gathering, players from Kyiv's "Dynamo" joined after their club had played a friendly match against Swiss "Basel" the previous day.

Eleven Dynamo players and Dnipro player Artem Dovbik, who participated in charity matches for Kyiv residents, arrived at the Elegance Hotel just before lunchtime. They were warmly greeted by their teammates from the national team, who have been working in Slovenia for four days already. The boys were happy to see each other, especially during this difficult wartime period.

After receiving national team equipment (since almost everyone had hurriedly left the capital and, therefore, did not bring their uniform with them), the newly arrived players stepped onto the training field at Brdo for the first time. After warming up and a run, the team split into two groups: three Dynamo players who played 45 minutes yesterday—Denys Harmash, Oleksandr Syrota, and Denys Popov—joined nine players who have been working for five days (Oleksiy Hushchylak did not participate today due to a knee injury). The rest of the Dynamo players, after completing recovery exercises, had the opportunity to simply observe what was happening on the field.

There was an interesting match between two teams of six players. The fitness coach Vyacheslav Ruzhenets proposed that the boys take turns performing six exercises on technique and accuracy, including hitting a narrow gap between targets, stopping the ball precisely in a small square, shooting into a basket and onto a crossbar. Only after completing each task clearly could they proceed to the next one. The winning team was the last player from their side who successfully completed two rounds of tasks faster than their opponents. Dynamo player Oleksandr Syrota was the participant from the orange team who outperformed his colleagues in the green six, bringing joy to all participants of the fan competition.

After this, twelve players also had the opportunity to play tennis ball.

Good news—Mykhailo Mudryk has started running work. The examination did not reveal a serious injury to his quadriceps muscle; there is only swelling. Mykhaylo will need several more days under the care of national team doctors for full recovery and return to training.

Tomorrow, blue-and-yellow will conduct their first full training session with almost all players from Ukrainian clubs.

The evening training, which will start at 5 PM Central European Time, will be open to media. Half an hour earlier, journalists will have the opportunity to speak with head coach Oleksandr Petrakov and a team player in a press conference format. Representatives of mass media from Ukraine will be able to ask questions through a Zoom conference call; accredited media can receive links to this via the UAF press service.
