The final tournament of the second women's European Football Championship, in which Ukraine will participate, will take place from July 1 to 3.

Earlier, UEFA announced that the final tournament of the women's Euro-2022 indoor football championship, which was scheduled for March 25-27 in Portugal, has been postponed. This decision was made after consultations and obtaining consent from the country's football association.

Later, UEFA announced new dates for the semifinals and medal matches. The games are scheduled for July 1-3. Thus, on July 1, Ukraine will play against Spain in the semifinal. The venue of the final tournament has not changed — all meetings will take place in Gondomar, Portugal.

In another semifinal match, Portugal and Russia were supposed to meet. However, due to Russian troops' invasion into Ukraine, FIFA and UEFA excluded the Russian teams and clubs from all competitions under their auspices. Consequently, the Russian women's indoor football team will not play in the Euro-2022 final tournament. According to UEFA's decision, Hungary, which secured second place in its group of the main round qualifier, will take part in the continental premier.
