The Ukrainian football team secured their second victory at the Deaflympics 2021, which was postponed to 2022 due to the pandemic and is taking place in the Brazilian city of Caxias do Sul. The blue-and-yellow team defeated Egypt with a score of 5:0.

The members of the Ukrainian Deaflympic football team are: Serhiy Bayev, Dmytro Belousov, Viacheslav Bragin, Oleksandr Vereshchaka, Maxim Vodolaga, Kostiantyn Voychenko, Dmytro Dokhtenko, Yaroslav Kotliarov, Oleksandr Olenych, Mykhailo Polyanskyi, Viktor Pustovit, Igor Reutov, Volodymyr Ryi, Ivan Rudzевич, Sene Roger Amadu, Niїe Abdoulie, Bohdan Mishenko, Roman Strijytskyi, Shalva Mchedlishvili, Dmytro Ukraintse. Coaches — Oleksandr Vereshchaka and Viktor Kozin.

In the first stage, 20 teams are divided into four groups of five. Two teams from each group advance to the quarter-finals.
