Before the matches for the 2027 World Cup qualifiers, there were changes in the Ukrainian national team's roster.

Through micro-adjustments in the team layout, Danya Semkiv and Solomia Kup'yak were left out. Both players had to go home and will not assist the national team in their upcoming matches.

The main coach of the Ukrainian national team, Yaia Andrushak, called up Irina Kotya from FC "Kolos" and Irina Podolska from FC "Metallist 1925" to the squad.

Reminder: On March 3rd, the Ukrainian team will play against England, and on March 7th, they will face Spain. The matches will take place in Antalya, Turkey.

Golekeepers: Katerina Boklaich (Nantes, France), Daria Bondarchuk (Metallist 1925 Kharkiv), Katerina Samson (Sisters Odessa), Daria Kelyshyk (Kolos Kovalivka).

European qualifying for the 2027 WC

Liga A

Liga B

Group 1: Wales, Czech Republic, Albania, Montenegro.

Group 3: Portugal, Finland, Slovakia, Latvia.

Group 4: Belgium, Scotland, Israel, Luxembourg.                

Liga C

Reminder, FIFA Council approved that the women's World Cup 2027 in Brazil will take place from June 24 to July 25. 29 direct qualifiers out of 32 will be distributed as follows:

  • Europe — 11;
  • Asia — 6;
  • Africa — 4;
  • North and Central America (CONCACAF) — 4;
  • South America — 3 (Brazil qualifies automatically from this quota);
  • Oceania — 1.

The three remaining teams will be determined in the playoff round involving 10 national teams. The playoff consists of two stages with the following quotas:

  • Europe — 1;
  • Asia — 2;
  • Africa — 2;
  • North and Central America (CONCACAF) — 2;
  • South America — 2;
  • Oceania — 1.

The first stage of the playoff round will take place in October–December 2026, and the second one in February 2027.

European qualifying for the 2027 WC

The European qualification will take place in three stages. The group stage matches will be held on March 3rd and 7th, April 14th and 18th, June 5th and 9th, 2026 in three leagues — A (16 teams), B (16) and C (21).

The starting position of each team in the leagues is determined based on the results of Nations League 2025. Ukraine will participate in Liga A.

For the 2027 WC, the winners of four groups in Liga A qualify directly.

The remaining quotas will be distributed in the playoff rounds in October–December 2026. In the first round, teams that occupy second and third places in Liga A will play against the winners of six groups in Liga C and the best teams that occupy second places there. Eight winners advance to the next round.

The four last teams from Liga A and the four winners of groups in Liga B will face the third and other teams in Liga B respectively. Eight winners advance to the next round.

In the second round, 16 teams will meet in eight pairs. Seven best winners qualify for the World Cup, while the eighth has to participate in an intercontinental playoff.
