Head coach of the Sweden national team Greame Potter has commented on the round of 2026 World Cup playoffs, where his charges will face Ukraine in the semifinals.

"You just need to watch all the video materials, and then you'll see how exciting the tournament is. Of course, this is a dream for all of us, and it will be part of the challenge for the Sweden national team. I think we need to figure out how to control these emotions and try to play our football as best as possible. But it's incredibly exciting. We would be very proud if we managed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, but first we have to play two important matches." 

Expanding the tournament to 48 teams? This is a World Cup, so it's good that as many countries as possible are involved.
