The Ukrainian Football Association has for the first time in our country's history launched a new regional stage of women’s and girls’ football development — the "Call to Dream" project (U-14).

The event took place on November 5–7, 2025, in Uzhhorod, bringing together six regions of the western part of Ukraine (Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi and Chernivtsi).

Over three days, the most promising football players in the age category U-14 worked under the leadership of the head coach of Ukraine's women’s national team U-15, Nataliya Ignotovich, and her assistant. The goal of the project is to create equal opportunities for young players regardless of their place of residence and to provide conditions for their further development within the system of national teams.

Main tasks of the "Call to Dream" project:

— ensuring access for talented girls to high-level training processes and forming a community of motivated players who strive for growth and mutual support;

— preparing candidates for Ukraine's women’s national team WU-15;

— engaging participants from mixed teams with boys in girls' football;

— increasing awareness among regional team coaches about contemporary standards of training young female athletes;

The project was created as a motivational platform that allows girls to experience the atmosphere of the national team, showcase their strengths and take a real step towards their dream — playing for Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Football Association continues to systematically develop girls' football in all regions of the country. "Call to Dream" is the next step towards creating a stable selection platform and shaping the future generation of players for Ukraine's national teams.
