The "Together to Victory" tournament took place in Kyiv before Ukraine's Independence Day

In Kyiv, on the sidelines of the Viktor Bannikov NTK, a football tournament called "Together to Victory" was held in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Ukraine's Independence Day.

A tournament of football "Together to Victory" dedicated to supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Independence Day took place in Kyiv on the sidelines of Viktor Bannikov's NTK.

The following teams participated:

— Ukrainian Football Association;

— Football Association of Builders of Ukraine;

— FC "Omega";

— National University of Defense of Ukraine;

— All-Ukrainian Association of Professional Footballers;

— Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informationization;

— Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv Region;

— National Military Medical Clinical Center "Main Military Hospital".

According to the regulations, two groups of four teams each were formed. The winners of the quartets met in the final, while the second, third, and fourth-placed teams from each group played for third, fifth, and eighth places respectively.

In the match for third place, the Ukrainian Football Association defeated the All-Ukrainian Association of Professional Footballers 3-2.

In the final, the National University of Defense of Ukraine faced FC "Omega". The match ended in a 1-1 draw and the university team won in the penalty shootout 5-4.

The winners received cups, medals, footballs, and valuable gifts.

Final standings

8th place — National Military Medical Clinical Center "Main Military Hospital";

7th place — Football Association of Builders of Ukraine;

6th place — Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informationization;

5th place — Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv Region;

4th place — All-Ukrainian Association of Professional Footballers;

3rd place — Ukrainian Football Association;

2nd place — FC "Omega";

1st place — National University of Defense of Ukraine.

Best goalkeeper — Yurii Buchynskyi (National University of Defense of Ukraine).

Best defender — Ivan Zakharchov (Ukrainian Football Association).

Best half-back — Vitaliy Kharchenko (Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informationization).

Best forward — Yurii Maksimenko (All-Ukrainian Association of Professional Footballers).

Best player — Vladyslav Tserkushka (FC "Omega").

The participants were greeted by the President of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andriy Shevchenko, and the President of the All-Ukrainian Association of Professional Footballers, Igor Gataullin.
