Today, August 18 at the Kyiv stadium "Dynamo" named after V. V. Lobanovskyi, the eighth match of the third round of the Ukrainian Premier League season-2025/2026 took place.

"Zorya" and "Kryvbas" presented fans with an exciting showdown featuring a large number of dangerous moments and goals. As early as the start of the match, the Kryvyi Rih team seized the initiative: within the first 15 minutes they twice scored against their opponents — Zaderaka and Parako were on target. The Luhansk players managed to narrow the gap before halftime thanks to a precise shot by Budkivskyi.

In the second half, the goal-scoring continued. Zaderaka completed his brace and made the score 1-3, but soon Budkivskyi again added intrigue, converting his second chance of the match. However, despite their efforts, the hosts could not salvage the game. The final whistle recorded a victory for "Kryvbas" — 3:2.

Now the Premier League is taking a short break: the fourth round starts on August 29. And already this coming weekend, on August 23 and 24, matches of the 1/32 finals of the Ukrainian Cup will take place.
