U-18/19: The Ukraine youth team played a night match in a friendly game
The Ukrainian U-18/19 youth team (players born in 2007) during a selection camp in Kyiv, which took place from August 3 to 6, played a friendly match against "Left Bank-2" at Bannikov Stadium.

The Ukraine U-18/19 team (players born in 2007) conducted a selection camp in Kyiv from August 3rd to 6th and played a friendly match against "Left Bank-2" at the Bannikov stadium.
Coach Dmitry Mykhaylenko's wards drew 2-2. In the 21st minute, the team scored through an attack on the right flank, and Maxim Kichun converted a cross through the entire penalty area.

In the second half, the coach completely changed the lineup. At the 58th minute, "Left Bank" equalized. Bohdan Pasiichnyi capitalized on a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper of the national team. Three minutes later, Mykhailo Mishchenko put Kyiv's team ahead in a counterattack.
However, the players from the national team did not give up and equalized at the 82nd minute. Ivan Denysov scored into an empty net after a cross — 2-2.

52 teams are divided into 13 groups of four participants each. The host of the final tournament, Wales' national team, automatically received a bye for this tournament, while Spain's national team will enter the elite round qualification.
Based on the results of the qualification round, the top two teams from each group and the best third-placed team will join Spain in the elite round. This round will take place in spring 2026 and will determine seven national teams that will join Wales in the final stage of Euro 2026 (U-19).
