Today, the Ukrainian youth team for futsal, as part of their preparation for the final stage of Euro-2025 (U-19), played their second match at the international Futsal Week Summer Cup tournament in Poreč, Croatia.

Today, the Ukrainian youth national team for futsal is preparing for the final stage of Euro-2025 (U-19) by participating in their second match at the Futsal Week Summer Cup tournament held in Poreč, Croatia.
Nine European youth futsal teams are taking part in the competition, divided into three groups of three teams each. After an initial defeat against Portugal (0:4), today's match saw Igor Moskvichov’s team secure a victory over Slovenia.

The blue and yellow team scored two quick goals at the start of the match, followed by two more successful attacks before halftime. First, they capitalized on a one-on-one opportunity, then scored from a corner kick. The first half ended with a score of 4-0.
In the second half, both teams exchanged goals: Slovenia scored after a corner kick, and Ukraine responded with an effective throw-in goal. Later in the match, playing with five field players, they scored twice within two minutes. At the 38th minute mark, while still playing with five field players, Slovenia managed to narrow the gap to its minimum—5-4. This score remained until the final whistle.

The Ukrainian team secured second place in their group and will compete for fourth to sixth places against teams that also finished second in their groups. The matches of the second round are scheduled for June 27, 28, and 29.

Recall that the Ukrainian youth national team U-19, having successfully qualified for Euro-2025 through the main round of qualification, secured a place among the four teams competing in the tournament.
In the Group 5 main round of Euro-2025 (U-19) qualifiers held in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia, Ukraine convincingly defeated Montenegro (9:2) and the Netherlands (6:2), and narrowly won against the hosts (1:0). As a result, Ukraine secured first place in their group and qualified for the European Championship. Euro-2025 will take place from September 28 to October 5 at the "Chisinau Arena" in Chisinau.
