In their third Euro-2025 (U-21) match, Ukraine's youth team lost to the Netherlands (0:2) and concluded their tournament participation. 

After the end of the match, coach Unai Melgares commented on its result: 

"This was a very difficult game because we were well aware of the high level of the Netherlands team. Emotionally, we understood that it was either move forward or go home. Of course, the outcome is not what we expected.

I think we started well, but in such matches a lot depends on mistakes in non-critical situations. Because then it's very hard to get back into the game. This concerns all players and not just one person or situation.

We need to understand that Batagov played out of position. We had issues with certain performers. We couldn't rely on Saluk, as he was injured at yesterday's training session. We had to adapt. This was tough for Batagov, even though he tried his best.

I can summarize the entire tournament. The qualification was very good. Here in the match against Denmark we had chances and deserved more. There are things that need fixing."
