In 2025, three specialized sports classes were opened at Sharhorodskyi MTG, including two in football. In total, 40 students are participating in the project, which includes educational centers such as Plebanivskyi lyceum, Shargorodskiy Lyceum No. 1, and Shargorodskiy Lyceum No. 2.

The Ukrainian Football Association supported the initiative to develop school football within the "Football in Schools" project.

This project aims to create conditions for combining quality general secondary education with intensive sports training and is being implemented in cooperation with children's and youth sports schools and specialized federations of various sports.

On May 23, the head of the Vinnytsia Oblast Football Association, Irek Gataullin, and the deputy director for football development at the UFA, Alexandra Vladimirova, visited Sharhorodskyi Municipal Territorial Community. The purpose of their visit was to familiarize themselves with the implementation of the pilot project and discuss its further support with the directors of general educational institutions, head of the Shargorodskiy City Council Volodymyr Baretsyk, deputy head Artem Solianik, and director of the local Children's and Youth Sports School Ivan Palii.

The UFA provided football balls and equipment sets for football training to two general educational institutions, while the Vinnytsia OAA provided 20 football balls and a set of playing uniforms to the local Children's and Youth Sports School.

Developing school football is an investment in the health and successful future of Ukrainian children. Such initiatives bring us closer to our common goal — raising a strong, conscious, and athletic generation.
