Yegor Yarmoluk: "I am very happy, as I made my debut for the national team, and in such a game too"

Pavel Zakharchenko of the Ukraine national team, Yegor Yamolnyk, shared his impressions of the first playoff match in the Nations League against Belgium for a place in League A.   (Note: There seems to be an error in the original text regarding the name "Півзахисник" which is not a person's name but rather a position title. The correct translation should refer to Yamolnyk as a player of the Ukraine national team, and "Pavel Zakharchenko" was mistakenly included. Since there was no __NAME__ placeholder for this name in the original text, it has been omitted in the translation.) Corrected version without additional names: Yegor Yamolnyk of the Ukraine national team shared his impressions of the first playoff match in the Nations League against Belgium for a place in League A.

In the first play-off match of the Nations League against Belgium, Ukraine secured a convincing victory (3:1). The game was commented on by our team's attacking midfielder, Yegor Yarmoluk, who made his debut for the national side in this match.

"I am very happy because I debuted with the national team and it was such an important game. Emotions are overwhelming! The coach congratulated me on my good play and told me to keep preparing."

The match did not go in our favor initially, but we managed to turn its course thanks to teamwork, resilience, and fighting until the end.

It wasn't too difficult for me to enter the game. There was a little nervousness, but once I got out there, everything went according to plan. Will a 3:1 score be enough? For us, it will be sufficient to prepare for the next match, come out strong and advance,"— said Yegor Yarmoluk.

We remind you that the return play-off match of the Nations League against Belgium for the right to participate in the upcoming elite division A tournament will take place on Sunday, March 23rd in Genk. The start time is 21:45 local Kyiv time.
