Ukrainian referees will work at the 2026 World Cup qualifier match

In the UEFA 2026 World Cup qualifying match in group J between Liechtenstein and North Macedonia, which will take place on March 22 in Vaduz, a Ukrainian refereeing crew will officiate. The UEFA website reports this. The main referee will be Mykola Balakyn. He will be assisted by Viktor Matyash and Oleksandr Berkyt on the lines. Denis Shurman will perform the duties of the fourth official. Viktor Kopiyevskyi and Oleksii Derevinskyi will be responsible for the VAR system.
