Iceland, the opponent of Ukraine's national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifying cycle, has planned a friendly match against Northern Ireland.

According to an official announcement from the Football Association of Iceland, the match will take place on June 10 in Belfast at Windsor Park. Additionally, under the supervision of Arnar Gunnleifsson, there is a friendly match scheduled against Scotland on June 6 in Glasgow.

It is worth noting that the qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup between Iceland and Ukraine will take place on October 10 and November 16 of this year.
