U-21: EURO 2027 qualifying draw featuring Ukraine scheduled for February 6
The next cycle of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, EURO 2027 (U-21), will begin on February 6 with the group stage qualifying draw, featuring the participation of Ukraine's U-21 team.
UEFA will announce further details regarding the competition format and draw procedure in due course. For now, three windows have been scheduled for the qualification matches this year: September 1–9, October 6–14, and November 10–18. Serbia and Albania (joint bid) are candidates to host the final tournament, but the official decision on the hosts will be made during an upcoming UEFA Executive Committee meeting in the coming weeks.
It’s worth noting that the outcomes of EURO 2027 (U-21) will determine UEFA's representatives for the 2028 Olympic Games.
As a reminder, this summer, under the leadership of Unai Melgosa, Ukraine’s U-21 national team will participate in the final tournament of EURO 2025 (U-21) in Slovakia. In the group stage, Ukraine will face Denmark (June 12), Finland (June 15), and the Netherlands (June 18).
