Today, December 2 in Kyiv at the House of Football, a solemn event took place dedicated to awarding the best football players and coaches who participated in competitions under the auspices of DUFU this year.

The "Golden Ball DUFU" - 2023/2024 was awarded to 10 footballers across five age categories — the best defenders and attackers. The best coach of Ukraine's Children-Juvenile Football League was also determined, which went to Volodymyr Samorodskyi ("Shakhtar" Donetsk).

Addressing those present with a welcoming speech was First Vice President of the UAF Pavlo Boychuk: "I am very glad to welcome everyone! Just 15 minutes ago, the president of the UAF Andriy Shevchenko called. He inquired about how powerful the event would be and conveyed greetings to all players and coaches with best wishes for the New Year. This season was not an easy one. Thank you for your resilience, play, and results. First and foremost, I want to thank the Forces of Defense of Ukraine who made it possible for this season to take place."
