According to their conclusions, the teams that will compete for victory in next year's tournament are now known. The quarter-finals are scheduled for March 20 and 23. The draw is set to take place on November 22 (starting at 13:00 Kyiv time). Semi-final matches will be held on June 4 and 5, with the match for third place and the final on June 8.

It was also determined which national teams have been promoted to a higher league for the next cycle of the League of Nations, which ones have been relegated, and which will have to play promotion/relegation matches.

League of Nations-2026/2027

League A: Portugal, France, Germany, Spain, Croatia, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark, England, Norway, Wales, Czech Republic, four playoff winners.

Playoff for League A spots

Pot 1 (third-placed teams from League A groups): Scotland, Serbia, Hungary, Belgium.

Pot 2 (second-placed teams from League B groups): Greece, Austria, Turkey, Ukraine.

League B: Poland, Israel, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden, North Macedonia, Romania, Northern Ireland, eight playoff participants.

Playoff for League B spots

Pot 1 (third-placed teams from League B groups): Slovenia, Georgia, Iceland, Ireland.

Pot 2 (second-placed teams from League C groups): Slovakia, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Armenia.

League C: Albania, Montenegro, Kazakhstan, Finland, Belarus, Faroe Islands, Cyprus, Estonia, Moldova, San Marino, six playoff participants.

Playoff for League C spots

Pot 1 (best fourth-placed teams from League C groups): Latvia, Luxembourg.

Pot 2 (second-placed teams from League D groups): Malta, Gibraltar. 

League D: Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Andorra, two playoff participants.

The draw for the promotion/relegation playoffs will also take place on November 22. Matches will be played on March 20 and 23, as well as March 26 and 31, 2025.

Group stage matches of the League of Nations-2026/2027 are scheduled for September to November 2026. The tournament will be linked to Euro 2028 qualification.
