After two October matches in the 2024/2025 Nations League, significant changes occurred at the top of the historical table for Ukraine's national team.

Taras Stepanenko played his 87th match for the blue-and-yellow and tied with Yevhen Konoplyanka, who previously held seventh place in the record books individually.

Mykola Matviyenko increased his tally of matches for the national team to 72, surpassing Andriy Gusin (71 matches) and placed himself at the eleventh position in the historical table.

Finally, Roman Yaremchuk has played 57 matches for Ukraine's national team, allowing him to pass Serhiy Nazarenko and Vyacheslav Shevchuk (both with 56 matches) and tie Viktor Tsygankov and Oleksandr Kucher, who shared the 21st place in the ranking.
