Second League. Draws in the derby benefited "Polissya-2", which now leads the table

The focus was on the match in Vinnyky, where "Rukh-2" faced "Kulikiv-Bilka". These teams were among the top four in Group A. The more experienced visitors managed to break the five-match winning streak of the young Lvivians, although both teams deserved a win due to many goal-scoring opportunities. For the final draw (1:1), players should blame themselves and their poor realization.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, "Revera-1908" settled accounts with "Proboi", which started strongly but gradually slowed down. The visitors' lineup is protected by a whole group of former first league players from "Prykarpattia". They also had an advantage in experience. However, the home team, among whom there were many young performers, managed to neutralize the tournament's top scorer Bogdan Orinchak, and everything ended with signing a peace treaty — 1:1.

These draws in the derby pleased footballers of "Polesia-2" most, who, after defeating the second club team from Ternopil "Niva" — 4:1, became sole leaders.

And in Group B, "Kolos-2" strengthened its leading position by taking the lead over their main rival — "Chernihiv" (1:0). Kovelsk residents were down a player at the end of the first half, but this did not prevent them from tipping the scales in their favor after halftime. After a set piece situation, veteran Serhiy Basov scored.

And finally — about the match between the bottom teams, "Niva" and "Metalist 1925-2". With minutes to go, Kharkiv residents were ahead — 2:1, but the underdogs not only equalized but also scored their first win in injury time — 3:2. The decisive goal was scored by playing president of FC Artur Zagorulko.
