A defender of the Ukraine national team and Donetsk's «Shakhtar», Mykola Matviyenko, has been included in a symbolic team of the best players from the first round of the Champions League 2024/2025. UEFA's website reports this.

It should be noted that after the match between «Bologna» and «Shakhtar» (0:0), Matviyenko received the UEFA prize for the best player of the match.
