Vorskla progresses to Women's Champions League round 1 final, Kolos exits in semifinals

In the 2024/2025 season, for the second time in history, two teams are representing Ukraine in the Women's Champions League — Vorskla Poltava, competing in Round 1 of the Champions Path, and Kolos Kovalivka, participating in Round 1 of the League Path.

By the draw, Ukrainian champions Vorskla were placed in Group 10, with matches being hosted in Budapest, Hungary. In the semifinal, Vorskla dominated Latvian club RFS with a 5:0 victory. As a result, on September 7, our team will play in the final.

The Ukrainian league runner-up, Kolos, traveled to Brøndby, Denmark, for Group 1 matches. It was the team’s debut in European competitions. In the semifinal against Dutch side Ajax, Kolos initially took the lead but eventually lost in extra time, 1:4. On September 7, Kolos will play in the third-place match.
