Conference League: Kryvbas ends European campaign with defeat to Betis

Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih failed to advance past the playoff round of the 2024/2025 UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying and has concluded their European campaign.

A week ago in Košice, the team managed by Yuriy Vernydub lost 0:2 to Betis. The return leg took place in Seville.

The hosts quickly took control of the match, frequently testing the goalkeeper. Kryvbas had a chance when Bandeyra's header from Drambaшev's cross hit the post. Before the end of the first half, Betis scored three times: Ruibal opened the scoring, and Ez Abde added a brace.

In the second half, there were notable attempts from Ez Abde and Mykytyshyn, as well as a double save by Klishchuk during one of Betis’s attacks. Despite late opportunities for Betis, the score remained 3:0 in favor of the Spanish side. Kryvbas’s European season is now over.
