Today "Shakhtar" finds out its opponents in the main round of the Champions League

Today, at 19:00 Kyiv time on August 29, the draw for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League will take place, in which Donetsk's «Shakhtar», which is in the second pot, will participate. The club qualified directly to the main tournament grid.

Thirty-six clubs will compete in the main round.
The biggest change is the transition from the traditional group stage to a single league phase that includes all participating teams. Now, each club in the Champions League will have at least eight matches against eight different opponents (four home and four away) rather than the previous six games against three teams played both home and away. The top eight teams in the league automatically qualify for the knockout round, while teams ranked ninth to 24th compete in two-legged ties for spots in the Round of 16.
The first round of the group stage will take place on September 17–19.
