Last weekend, nine out of twelve foreign players called up by Serhiy Rebrov for the preparation ahead of the 2024/2025 Nations League matches played for their clubs.

On Saturday, August 24, in the second round of the English Premier League, Vitaliy Mykolenko (full match) lost to Tottenham away — 0:4.

In the third round of Portugal's Primeira Liga, Anatoliy Trubin (full match) saw Benfica lose at home to Estoril Amadora (1:0).

In the second round of Italy's Serie A, Ruslan Malinovskiy (came on as a substitute in the 62nd minute) helped Genoa win away from home against Monza (1:0).

On Sunday, August 25, in the English Premier League, Mikhail Mudryk (substituted in the 46th minute) helped Chelsea crush Wolverhampton away (6:2), while Illya Zabarnyj (full match) played for Bournemouth, who drew with Newcastle at home (1:1).

In the fourth round of Austria's Bundesliga, Maxim Taloviyev (came on as a substitute in the 56th minute) lost away to Austria (1:2).

In Italy's Serie A, Artem Dovbyk (full match) saw Roma unexpectedly lose at home to Empoli on the Olimpico Stadium (1:2).

In the second round of Spain's La Liga, Viktor Tsygankov (substituted in the 68th minute) saw Girona lose to local Atletico Madrid in Madrid (0:3).

Finally, on Monday, August 26, in the second round of Greece's Super League, Roman Yaremchuk (came on as a substitute in the 68th minute) scored his debut goal to help Olympiacos win at home against Kallithea (2:1).
