On August 19 in Kyiv, with the support of the Ukrainian Football Association (UFA) and the Starobilsk District Military Administration, a mini-football tournament for children of internally displaced persons was held to mark Ukraine's Independence Day. The event was called "The Cup of the Head of the Starobilsk District State Administration of Luhansk Oblast."

Teams of children born in 2013-2014 participated in the competition.

Honored guests at the tournament included: Head of Starobilsk District State Administration of Luhansk Oblast and Commander of the Starobilsk District Military Administration of Luhansk Oblast, Volodymyr Cherewaty; Deputy Commander of the Starobilsk District Military Administration of Luhansk Oblast, Serhiy Yaryshev; Head of the Starobilsk District Council, Roman Reshetnyak; Deputy Commander of the Starobilsk City Military Administration, Oleksiy Shtauira; Commander of Bilokurakynskyi Village Military Administration, Vitalii Antonenko; Head of Luhansk Oblast Branch of NOC Ukraine and Commander of the Luhansk Oblast Branch of KFVS MON Ukraine, Viktor Ostrets; representative of the Ukrainian Association of Futsal, Yuriy Kravchenko.

Thus, after a fierce competition, the prize positions were distributed as follows: 1. DUSSH of Bar city, Vinnytsia Oblast; 2. NSK "URAGAN Kyiv"; 3. Team from Starobilsk District of Luhansk Oblast.

All participants received prizes from NOC Ukraine and the Starobilsk District Military Administration.

After the tournament, an excursion to the House of Football was organized for players and coaches, during which guests also had a conversation with First Deputy President of UAF Pavlo Boychuk.
