July 28, at the NSCL "Oxmatdite", a sports event called "Games of Winners" took place. This event has been held for the second year in a row, and it involves children who had serious illnesses but have recovered after treatment or are undergoing rehabilitation at Ukraine's leading hospital.

After the barbaric shelling of the hospital by the Russian Federation on July 8, there were doubts among the organizers of "Games of Winners" about whether to proceed with the event. However, it was decided that this celebration is primarily needed for children who are overcoming major life challenges.

The Ukrainian Football Association is a reliable partner of the "Oxmatdite" hospital. For example, after the shelling on July 8, at the initiative of President of the UAF Andriy Shevchenko, a donation was made for the reconstruction of the hospital.

“I want to assure you that the Ukrainian Football Association will continue to support 'Oxmatdite'. I sincerely thank the doctors and all staff of the hospital for their courage and professionalism. And to you, our young winners, I would like to say - you are an example for us adults. An example of how to overcome difficult situations and believe in your own strength. Thank you! May God protect you and our Ukraine!” — said Pavlo Boychuk, First Vice President of the UAF, addressing those present.

To the General Director of "Oxmatdite", Volodymyr Zhovnyr, from the UAF was handed over a set of football equipment and balls that will be used for rehabilitation of children undergoing treatment in the clinic. Each participant of "Games of Winners" received souvenirs from the UAF.

During the event, children took part in a symbolic run around the hospital grounds accompanied by Volodymyr Zhovnyr.

In addition to representatives of the Ukrainian Football Association, among others, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of FST "Dynamo", Mykola Daniech, founder of the Book of Records of Ukraine and Honored Journalist of Ukraine Valentin Shcherbachov, bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in freestyle wrestling Valeriy Andreytsev, multiple-time champion of Ukraine in traditional karate Marina Yur’eva with her student Elizaveta Mogilyan, multiple-time world champion in bodybuilding Vadim Vasylyevskyi, titleholder "Mr. Universe" Volodymyr Osnyk, world champion in kickboxing Volodymyr Bulba and representative of the NGO "Common Victory", Oleksandr Sokolinskyi also took part.

They addressed the children and their parents with motivating speeches, then conducted master classes in various sports. Representatives of the UAF visited a football pitch where they also participated in a master class for patients of "Oxmatdite" along with players from Kyiv FC "Athlete".
