The game began with Norway’s aggressive play, and in the 4th minute, they nearly scored, but Ukraine’s goalkeeper managed to deflect Sander Kilen’s shot onto the post. Norway continued to press, and Vladyslav Krapyvtsov was kept busy in goal, repeatedly saving the team.

In the 21st minute, Mykola Oharkov was injured and replaced by Ivan Yermachkov. Just five minutes later, Sander Kilen had another opportunity, but once again the post came to Ukraine’s rescue.
After the break, Ukraine also created some chances. In the 50th minute, a cross from Taras Mykhavko from the left wing went to the far corner of the goal, requiring a save from Norway’s goalkeeper. Later, Bohdanov and Vashchenko also threatened Norway’s goal.
Towards the end of the match, both teams had chances to secure a win. However, Gonsstad’s header from a left-wing cross missed the near post. Meanwhile, Vashchenko’s shot from the left wing in the third minute of stoppage time went over the bar.
