For the first time in history, our football and futsal teams have won gold and silver medals at the main sports event of European university sports.

DTEU Gold Medalists

The State Trade and Economic University's football team, under the leadership of Oleksiy Yatsenko, won gold medals in the football tournament. After defeating Germany's University of Würzburg with a score of 2-0 in the final, the Ukrainian team earned the right to represent Ukraine at next year's World Championship for university students.

Silver Medals for NUFVSU and UDMID

The futsal team of the Ivano-Frankivsk Vocational College of Physical Education at the National University of Food Technologies, participating in the European Games for the first time, won silver medals. Under the leadership of Yurii Ivanishin, the team performed excellently, conceding only to Spain's Seville University in the final on penalties with a score of 5-6.

Women's futsal team of the Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after Mykhailo Dragomanov

The women's futsal team of the Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after Mykhailo Dragomanov, under the leadership of Ruslan Misharovskiy, won silver medals for a second consecutive time. Kseniya Gryzchenko was recognized as the best player of the tournament and along with Aliona Kovalevskaya was included in the all-star team.

Quality Performance by UDPU

The women's football team of the Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, under the leadership of Volodymyr Shcherbin, won a small tournament with four teams, defeating teams from Germany, Portugal and Norway, and secured fifth place.
