In the 66th year of his life, Italian football refereeing specialist Giovanni Stevanato passed away. He actively participated in preparing Ukrainian assistant referees and referees at various levels, passing on his immense international experience to local professionals.

He was a professional and fair mentor, as well as a good colleague beyond the confines of classrooms and sports fields.

His dedication to the development of football, kindness, openness, and sincere heart will forever remain in the memory of Ukrainian referees.
