Andriy Lunin: "Preparation for official matches always easier and better with a winning mood"
Goalkeeper of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Lunin, along with head coach Serhiy Rebrov, participated in a press conference ahead of the friendly match with Moldova.
- There's serious competition both at the club and national team levels. How do you feel in such circumstances?
- Competition helps to grow, develop, and become better. The club season is already over, we've done everything we could. So, the choice is up to the head coach.
- Do you feel that in just a week you'll be starting at the Euros?
I think all pre-match nerves will start closer to the first game of the tournament. For now, we have tomorrow's match, and we need to prepare well for it. We need to show good performance and achieve a positive result because preparing for official matches is always easier and better with a winning mood. So, we have a friendly game ahead, and then we'll have a few days left for preparation.
