Serhiy Rebrov: "I have great respect for Moldova. They are a very strong side"

Ahead of the friendly match against the Moldovan team, the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhiy Rebrov, held a press conference.

- The match against Poland saw an experimental lineup. What can we expect from the Ukrainian national team lineup tomorrow?

- It's very important to give all players a chance to play. We can't have a player come to the team's location and not play in a friendly match at all. Everyone has had a chance and will have a chance tomorrow. I don't know which lineup is considered the main one and which one is not.

- How important are the results in these friendly matches?

- The result is important in any case, but it's not the priority. We rotated players and gave playing time to everyone. We are currently undergoing normal planned preparation for the Euro.

- Anatoliy Trubin and Georgiy Bushchan played in the previous matches. Will Andriy Lunin play in the third friendly match?

- I think everyone understands that Andriy will be on the pitch.

- What can you say about the Moldovan national team?

- I've watched many Moldovan matches, they are a very strong side. I saw their game against Poland, where they were losing 0:2 and then came back to win. This team finished fourth in the group but deserved more. Tomorrow we will be very serious, especially since this is our last match before the start of the Euros.

- Do you have an understanding of who will play in the goal for the Ukrainian national team at the Euros?

- Let's see. Lunin will play tomorrow, everyone has had their chance. We have very good goalkeepers who perform at a high level. I'm satisfied with the competition we have in this position.

- After the matches against Germany and Poland, can we say that the game against Moldova will be a dress rehearsal for you before the Euro? Or is it just an ordinary match against not a very serious opponent?

Why is it not a serious opponent if they defeat Poland? Evaluating based on the number of wins in the qualifying tournament? All matches are very important for us. Different opponents with different styles of play. I have great respect for the Moldovan national team, I've watched many of their matches. I believe they are a very strong side.
