The day before tomorrow's friendly match Moldova — Ukraine, which will take place in Chisinau at the Zimbru
Stadium (kick-off at 19:00 Kyiv time), head coach of our opponent Sergei Klyshechko spoke to the media.
"It's no secret that the attacking line is the strongest in Ukraine's national team. Moreover, there are more or less equal substitutes for each player in this five-man group. If I start naming surnames, my head will spin. Since all these names are quite well-known and prominent. We see these players every week in very strong leagues. How we will defend — the game will show that. What we want to see, we'll tell the boys.
However, even when we have to spend most of the match defending, we still aim for an attack. I think Ukraine won't allow us much possession of the ball. We need to be ready to win back the ball and look for quick counter-attacks. Or to seek out the ball and hold onto it for a certain break. Whatever happens, we always strive to get to our opponent's goal as quickly as possible," — Klyshechko said in particular.
