EURO 2024. Latest from Ukraine's camp: for some — recovery day, for others — full training session

The day after a match is a recovery day for the starting lineup and a full physical workload for those who didn't play or came on as substitutes. This principle guided today's training session for the Ukrainian national team.

Interestingly, three players from yesterday's starting eleven — Andriy Yarmolenko, Serhiy Sydorchuk, and Oleksandr Tymchyk — opted for recovery exercises on the pitch: they jogged and stretched while observing their teammates' activities. On the other hand, Georgiy Bushchan had a full training session, participating both with the goalkeepers' group and during the tactical drills.

Meanwhile, the main group, after a short run and warm-up, worked on ball possession in small-sided games and had a complete training session. The session included tactical drills, high-intensity strength work at various stations, and finishing exercises.

Tomorrow, our national team will have its final day of camp in Warsaw, and on June 10, the delegation will fly to Chisinau.

In the capital of Moldova, the blue-yellows will play their last friendly match before the start of Euro 2024 against the local team on June 11 (tickets available). The match will kick off at 19:00 Kyiv time.

The next day, on June 12, the team will arrive at their base camp for Euro 2024 in Wiesbaden.
