Today, May 26 in Uzbekistan, at the main square of Samarkand—Registan—the final tournament draw for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024 will take place. The ceremony will start at 19:00 Kyiv time and will be broadcast live on the official FIFA website.

The final tournament of the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024 will take place from September 14 to October 6 in three cities in Uzbekistan—Andijan, Bukhara, and Tashkent.

During the draw, 24 teams according to the FIFA ranking for futsal national teams will be divided into six groups of four participants. Two best teams from each group and four third-placed teams will advance to the knockout stage. After that, round-of-16 matches, quarter-finals, semi-finals, a match for third place, and the final will take place.

Our team secured its license last December after defeating Poland (5:3) in the elite round of qualification. Oleksandr Kosenko's wards topped their group and earned a direct berth to the World Cup. Along with Ukraine, Kazakhstan, France, Spain, and Portugal also qualified from Europe. Two more lucky teams were determined later after playoff matches where Netherlands defeated Finland, and Croatia—Poland.
