Today, on May 26, the Ukrainian U-17 national team (players born in 2007 or later) will play their third match at the European Championship. The game against Cyprus will start at 8:30 PM.

Unfortunately, after two losses to Serbia (0:1) and Czech Republic (1:3), the team coached by Yuriy Moroz has lost their chances of advancing to the quarter-finals. Therefore, in the match against hosts who have also not yet scored any points, prestige is all that remains at stake. To secure third place in the group, a draw would suffice for the blue and yellow team, considering the goal difference, but the coaching staff and the team are aiming for maximum results. “We need to come out and win every game,” believes head coach of our team Yuriy Moroz. “Regarding the lineup against Cyprus, we will look at the players' condition and figure out how to make a combat-ready team for this match.”

The match between Ukraine and Cyprus will take place in the city of Larnaca. The game can be watched on TV channel “Suspilne Sport” and YouTube channel “Suspilne Sport”.
