Women's Euro 2025: Ukraine revealed roster for clashes against Wales
Head сoach of the women's national team of Ukraine, Volodymyr Pyatenko, has announced the roster of 23 players called up for the training camp and participation in two Euro 2025 qualification matches against Wales.
The team will gather on May 26th in Kyiv and head to Rzeszów, Poland, where the training camp will take place.
The 3rd round qualifier match between Wales and Ukraine will be held on May 31st in Llanelli at Parc y Scarlets Stadium. Kick-off is at 21:15 Kyiv time.
The 4th round match between the Ukrainian and Welsh women's national teams will take place on June 4th in Grodzisk Wielkopolski, Poland, at the local stadium of the club Warta (Poznań), Respect Energy, and will start at 21:00 Kyiv time.

League A

Allocation of spots for Euro 2025 will be based on the results of the next league cycle. Teams will compete in groups of four or three teams (League C). The top eight teams in League A (first and second places) will immediately qualify for the final tournament along with the host country, Switzerland.
The remaining seven slots will be contested in two playoff rounds. In the first round, teams finishing third and fourth in League A will play against the group winners and the three best second-placed teams in League C. Eight winners will advance to the second round.
In the other path, the four group winners and the two best teams finishing second in League B will play against the remaining two second-placed teams and the four teams finishing third in League B. Six winners will advance to the second round.
In the second playoff round, 14 teams will compete for the seven spots in the final Euro 2025 tournament, where a total of 16 participants are expected.
The teams' paths in the playoff matches, if necessary, will be adjusted according to Switzerland's performances. If Switzerland finishes first, second, or third in their League B group, the best fourth-placed team from that division will participate in the playoffs.
Promotion and relegation
Teams will also vie for positions in the next Nations League, which will run from 2025 to 2027:
- Winners and second and third-place teams in League A groups will remain in League A.
- Second-place teams and the three best third-place teams in League B groups will remain in League B.
- Second, third, and fourth-place teams in League C groups will remain in League C.
- Group winners in Leagues B and C will move up to the higher division.
- Fourth-place teams in League A and the worst third-place team in League B will be relegated to the lower division.
