About 180 boys and girls participated in a pilot project of the UAF within the FIFA Talent Development Scheme at the Terebovlia stadium "Avangard."

After performing the Ukrainian National Anthem and honoring fallen soldiers, young participants were greeted by the head of the youth football department of the UAF Valeriy Zolotukhin and vice-chairman of the Zakarpattya Football Association, head of children's and youth football of the ZFA Viktor Kachur.

Also present at the ceremonial opening were the head of Terebovlia Town Council Ihor Grabar, chairman of Tyachiv District Football Association Ivan Grabar, head of education, health care, culture, youth and sports department of Terebovlia community Vasyl Varga, teachers and parents of future football players.

The highlight of the ceremony was a performance by local dance and fitness studio representatives from VIVA_DanceFit.

Traditionally at the opening event everyone received gifts: schools - football equipment and balls, while children - certificates and medals for participation.

In the project participated boys and girls (8-12 years old) from Bedevlian Lyceum, Terebovlia Lyceum named after V. Benchak, Gryhiv Lyceum, Krivoye Lake Gymnasium, as well as members of sports club "Avangard Terebovlia."

As a reminder, within the pilot project for implementing the FIFA Talent Development Program, the UAF focuses on identifying young talents through testing their natural physical abilities and further organizational support for development.
